In 1929 the Austrian engineer Raoul HAFNER started to develope of a rotary-wing aircraft. First tests took place at the airfield Aspern/Vienna.

1966 the Weinviertler Oskar WESTERMAYER began to carry out his idea of his own one-seat autogyro and got it officially licensed in 1970.
